Located in the scenic town of Tepoztlán, the Santuario de Artes y Terápias Orientales is a peaceful retreat offering our guests personalized respites for healing, rest and growth.
Regina Quintero, a doctor of Oriental medicine, works with the sanctuary’s visitors to build a holistic experience incorporating health consultations and treatments, yoga and meditation. Our guests enjoy meals made from organic and all-natural products, including produce from the sanctuary’s garden, to create deliciously healthful nourishment.
The Santuario de Artes y Terápias Orientales complex includes cottages, a guest house, a non-chlorinated pool, and a main house which includes the kitchen, dining patio, yoga studio, meditation patio and treatment rooms. Accomodations include rooms, each with a private bath, that are comfortable for solo travelers, for couples or for groups of up to six people. Rates vary, based on length of stay, number of guests, and meal plans. Prices for treatments are available upon consultation.
Regina, a native of Mexico City, has traveled around the globe both as a professional dancer and as part of her medical training. She is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, Calif., and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Tepoztlán, located an hour’s drive south of Mexico City, is easily reachable by car or by bus, with several bus routes leaving throughout the day from Mexico City’s Taxqueña bus station. Tepoztlán is one of Mexico’s designated “Pueblos Magicos,” or “Magic Cities,” due to its historical and cultural significance. Visitors can enjoy the valley’s incredible mountains and ancient ruins, along with the town center’s old-world charm.
